Going out, coming in — that is the whole job, and the rest is written for you. You can also let the session start by itself when you reach the beach. That one is off until you turn it on: nothing records you behind your back.

On Apple Watch you can open a session and close it without touching anything else in the water. Pairing it the first time, and launching it once on the iPhone, still take the phone.

Sessions, your best one, month by month, and the breakdown by break. It fills from the first session you log. Days you did not log are not in it either.
Say you want filming
Post that you are paddling out, before you go. If someone with a camera does turn up at that break, that is what they see first.
Today’s session is the first line. Tomorrow, today’s is already gone.
